In September 2021, Huitong has been awarded the tender of Jiangsu Xuyi
- Qiuteng Project. Jiangsu Xuyi Qiutong Project is approximately 108
kilometers, passing through Nanjing in Jiangsu Province, Huinan and
Chuzhou in Anhui Province. The total investment of the project was
about 767.53 million yuan. Huitong was responsible for the supply of
2240 tons of angle steel (Q420) for 500kV iron tower. The main
objective of the project is to expand the Xuyi 100kV substation,
Qiutong 500kV substation and built Xuyi Qiutong 500kV AC transmission
line.
In the design phase, Huitong began to adjust and test the data
according to the requirements of the project in order to achieve the
best effect. Because the project’s line construction needs to avoid
the ecological protection red line, drinking water source protection
zone, natural protection zone and other ecologically sensitive areas.
Therefore, small and high towers need to be used.
In the production process, Huitong adopted automatic cutting,
numerical control high-speed drilling, numerical control automatic
drilling and cutting processes in the processing of angle steel towers
for transmission lines; CNC plasma cutting, automatic rod
straightening and flange anti deformation processes were used in the
processing of substation structure and support, which were advanced
processing procedures in the industry and require high equipment
requirements. In addition, Huitong has strictly stick with the process
inspection for each process in the production process to ensure that
there are no deviations, such as ball joint treatment, welding of neck
flange and steel pipe, and integrity inspection of zinc coating. We
always maintain the goal of quality first to ensure that products meet
customer needs.
