220KV Jiangyin Transmission Line Project

Project Introduction

The 220KV Jiangyin Transmission Line Project is a cross-river project which costs 2.95 million RMB. Among all steel poles installed in this project, the largest one is as heavy as 104 tons. Its height is up to 78 meters with a maximum flange diameter of 3.6 meters. This is a rare huge single-base steel pole. Huitong has been equipped with advanced production line to fulfil overall assembly, through which the straightness of products can be ensured. Cross-arms were linked to steel poles through multi-edge intersecting welding. The self-designed software was adopted to intersect steel plates. In addition, the lofting procedure was completed through plasma cutting machines, which provided cutting precision and processing efficiency.
