Step-down Transmission Line Project of Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China(COMAC)
Project Introduction
The 110KV step-down transmission line project is a supporting project
for Manufacturing Base of COMAC. The base covers an area of above 2.67
million M² and its entire construction area is about 1.15 million M2.
The whole project is under direct management of Shanghai Government.
It is required that this project be completed in a tense timely manner
and the output have aesthetic appearance with high quality. Huitong
has participated in the project from the initial design stage of steel
poles. There were two special demands required by this project.
1. The diameters of steel poles should be as small as possible.
2. Plastic-spraying should be applied to steel poles after
galvanizing.
As for the first demand, when diameters of steel poles are reduced,
the thickness must be increased to ensure the strength. Therefore, the
amount of raw materials raised significantly, which resulted in more
difficulties in purchasing and processing raw materials. After
repeated calculations and professional verifications, an optimal ratio
of the diameter to thickness was determined to ensure satisfying
performance with lower manufacturing cost. Meanwhile, it was in line
with the availability of raw materials and the feasibility of
manufacturing.
It is the main technical difficulty in this project that
plastic-spraying should be applied to steel poles after galvanizing.
After galvanizing, the surface of the steel pole is smooth so that the
plastic-spraying layer has little adhesion. There was no precedent
within the industry. To overcome this obstacle, Huitong cooperated
with well-noted plastic-spraying entity. After large amounts of
experiments, we broke through this difficulty and realized innovations
in both technics and equipment. The output was well-commented by our
customers.
